Our studio is actually like our's second home in the Kibbutz Ashdot Yaakov Meuhad.
The studio is a gallery and workshop for our art works Sofi's pictures and Vladimir's ceramic and wood works.
For the past several years we have opened our studio doors for the students. The studio has a nice homelike atmosphere with quiet background music. It attracts both children and adults from the area.
The children are taught to create in a very warm and encouraging way and because of that, we are able to see how quickly the students progress. They learn the universal basics that they need for all the various art forms drawing, painting, ceramic sculpture and working with wood. The children are taught professional skills, composition, prospective, color combinations, etc.
Often, when the parents bring their kids to the class and watching and waiting, they join the class with their children. It's fun to see them working together.
We try not to share our personal preferences, but leave them to choose their own options working with wood or clay, drawing and painting using various materials. The students often create in several different media during the two hour lesson. We don't require a monthly fee. The students pay for each lesson that they attend.
We welcome anyone who wants to join us. The studio is near the Bet Uri and Rami Nachushtan Museum. You can park your car in the museum parking lot and arrange a meeting at the studio gallery.
